Hi! I’m Yishi.
I’m an industrial designer with experience in home goods, furniture, biomaterials, and packaging. I have collaborated closely with manufacturers, and I understand how to bridge the gap between design and production.
I believe design has the power to shape the world, to fill in the gaps where something is missing. I’m curious about how objects can influence our emotions and actions, shaping the way we interact with our surroundings.
Alongside my design practice, I also engage in artistic pursuits, including illustration, installations, and community event planning. Connecting with people through art strengthens my ties to my community and allows me to hear voices that often go unseen. It reminds me to be humble as a designer—to listen, observe, and create with a genuine respect for people’s needs and experiences.
And take a look at my Résumé.
