Mother Goddess

As part of my thesis experimentation, I started with a research-based collage.

I collected feminine components from the de Young Museum’s collection and created a collage to be  my mother goddess.

The covenant of sisterhood is the ritual that happens around the mother goddess. The goddess takes the form of ice, and the sisters will share her spirit. The ritual represents new ways of forming a family.
